Spot the Difference

We want to team up with members of the community to create digital health tools that will help women and individuals with a uterus track and monitor symptoms and risk factors. Raising awareness and helping women identify early signs and risk factors for uterine cancer will lead to earlier detection and better health outcomes.
During the years leading up to menopause, women and individuals with a uterus go through changes in menstrual cycle and flow. Many changes are normal and part of aging, but these changes can also be the first symptoms of uterine cancer, the most common gynecological cancer in Canada. When detected early, uterine cancer can be cured by surgical removal of the uterus. However, many women are diagnosed later, decreasing their chances of survival. Delayed diagnosis is often due to a lack of awareness of the symptoms and risk factors of uterine cancer.
We are recruiting:
- Women and people born with a uterus
- Over the age of 40
