DETECTR
Our DETECTR study is recruiting participants who are already scheduled to undergo diagnostic evaluation (an endometrial biopsy) for abnormal uterine bleeding.

Lynch Scan
Lynch Syndrome (LS) is a cancer predisposition syndrome that is inherited due to specific gene mutations. This project will evaluate if data collected from questionnaires and non-invasive biological tests (vaginal DNA and microbiome) can be used to predict the risk of endometrial cancer in Lynch syndrome carriers in BC.

RESToRE
Our RESToRE Study is recruiting participants who are at least 2 years past menopause and who have not been experiencing any abnormal menstrual bleeding.

Translating the Vaginal Microbiome
In our “Translating the Vaginal Microbiome” study, we are using data from self-sampled vaginal swabs to establish a robust microbiome signature that distinguishes a malignant from a healthy uterine environment.

Lynch Perspectives
When Lynch syndrome was first identified, very little was known about optimal prevention. Research has since advanced considerably, but less is known about the barriers and burdens individuals face in accessing recommended screening and prevention. This project explores these experiences among people with Lynch syndrome in British Columbia.

Endometrial Cancer Risk Modelling
We propose to validate previously developed models in a Canadian cohort and improve their ability to predict endometrial cancer (EC) and its precursors in a general population by adding relevant risk factors.

LNG-IUD and Cancer
This study aims to evaluate whether the LNG-IUD could be used as a tool for endometrial cancer prevention by evaluating its potential benefits and understanding its relationship with breast cancer risk.
