Dr. Andrea Neilson

Dr. Andrea Neilson is a Gynecologic Oncologist and a Miller Mindell Research Fellow in Vancouver.  She completed her medical degree and residency at the University of Alberta and her Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of British Columbia. Her investigational focus is gynecologic cancer, with a special focus on translational research; helping to bridge the gap between the bench and the clinic.  Her current projects involve molecular profiling of endometrial and endometriosis-related ovarian cancers as well as early detection of uterine cancer.  Dr. Neilson is proud to be a collaborator with the world-class researchers within the Uterine Health Research Lab.
