Our Research Projects
RESToRE
Our RESToRE Study is recruiting participants who are at least 2 years past menopause and who have not been experiencing any abnormal menstrual bleeding.
Spot the Difference
Can you spot the difference between experiences of menopause from the early signs of uterine cancer?
If you are over 40, in BC, and want to share your experience, connect with us.
DETECTR (Coming Soon)
Our DETECTR study will be recruiting participants who are already scheduled to undergo diagnostic evaluation (an endometrial biopsy) for abnormal uterine bleeding.
Translating the Vaginal Microbiome
In our “Translating the Vaginal Microbiome” study, we are using data from self-sampled vaginal swabs to establish a robust microbiome signature that distinguishes a malignant from a healthy uterine environment.
Endometrial Cancer Risk Modelling
We propose to validate previously developed models in a Canadian cohort and improve their ability to predict endometrial cancer (EC) and its precursors in a general population by adding relevant risk factors.
Lynch Syndrome
Lynch Syndrome (LS) is a cancer predisposition syndrome that is inherited due to specific gene mutations. This project will evaluate the barriers and burdens of screening/prevention delivery for Lynch Syndrome carriers in BC.
